About this work
Military William Order on a blue/orange ribbon. The ribbon has two blue stripes on the outer sides on an orange ribbon that has faded to white. It is attached to a metal ring which is fixed to the decoration. The Military William Order consists of a Maltese cross with white-enamelled arms and iron ball points at the ends. Between the arms are green-enamelled ornaments. In the center is the gold-colored flint. At the top is an iron crown filled with red wax. On the arms are the words MOED, BELEID, TROUW (Courage, Prudence, Loyalty).
