About this work
Glass with a heel-shaped stem on a straight, slightly flaring shaft, cut with hollow elongated hexagons and a raised foot. On the bowl, in stipple engraving, an oval crowned medallion with a bust of a man (William V), head slightly turned to the right; behind the medallion emerge flags, masts, naval and military attributes, below the medallion a scroll with inscription: WILLEM DE VDE // PRINS VAN ORANIE.
