About this work
Device for visually representing the motion of the sun, earth, moon and planets. Ring system: three horizontal rings mounted on legs above one another, with constellations and scales. This stands on a base in the form of a rectangle with a connection on four sides to the upper ring. On the rectangle is a time scale with inscription and signature. A rod runs through the time scale on which an ivory globe is mounted. This ring system belongs to a stand (-3) and there are also various loose parts (-2, -4 and -5).
