About this work
Pince-nez with silver frame and round, cut glasses. The glasses are set in silver rings that are open at the top and bent back so that a loop is formed through which a string or iron wire can be passed and tightened to close the ring. The outer edge of the glasses is bevelled. The nose bridge stands with curls on the rings.
