About this work

Morion-cabasset, iron, blackened with copper rivets. Made from one plate with the helmet bowl having a rear-pointing spike in the center. Around the base of the helmet bowl are eleven yellow copper decorative rosettes. The brim is scalloped. Decorated with engraved bands, between which hang medallions. On one of these medallions a warrior holding a staff.
