About this work
Helmet, iron, painted black. The helmet bowl consists of two parts joined lengthwise and flared around the low comb. The visor is movable and riveted to the helmet bowl on both sides. Two horizontal viewing slits in the visor. Six yellow copper decorative rosettes on the chin plate. The neck plate is riveted to the chin plate and has iron rivets around the edge of the plate. The neck guard is riveted to the helmet bowl and has rivets around the edge. A plume holder is attached to the rear of the helmet bowl.
