About this work

Black-painted Burgundian storm hat made of two parts, with yellow copper rivets along the edges of the helmet. The cavalry helmet has a face opening without a visor but with a pointed flap, which is attached to both sides of the helmet with two hinges. Below the hinges two copper rivets. The edge of the helmet is flanged. The inside of the helmet is painted black.
