About this work

Cavalry helmet, iron, bright, the helmet dome composed of two halves. Long low comb with a cabled edge ending under the iron plume socket. The articulated neck plate is riveted to the helmet dome and has a cabled flange edge. Closed from the front with three plates, foldable upwards on a common point. The chin plate is riveted to the articulated neck plate and the helmet dome and has a cabled edge. On the left side of the chin plate a hook that can be secured to the lower visor. Parallel decorative lines along the edge with flattened rivets underneath. The face plate has three vertical bars, each with a bulge in the middle. Decorative lines around. The helmet has a double visor, the lower visor has an eye on the left side to which the hook of the chin plate can be attached and has a bulging central ridge, the edge of the visor is cabled and has decorative lines under the edge. Round air holes on both sides of the visor.
