About this work

Candlestick, five-part with a wide-flaring circular foot decorated with two egg-and-dart moldings. The candlestick has a baluster-shaped shaft or stem with a disc-shaped knob at the bottom, a concave grease bowl with an egg-and-dart molding, and a baluster-shaped shaft. The candle holder is cylindrical with two round drainage holes and an egg-and-dart molding at the top. The casting seams are visible over the egg-and-dart moldings.
