Flintlock pistol of Jhr. J.C.G. Fabricius van Leyenburg

Flintlock pistol, part of a pair. Octagonal browned rifled barrel with a flintlock mechanism. On the three sides of the barrel is a figure consisting of three gilded lilies (?), 1,2 on the top face. Between the lilies is the inscription: EX and a gilded running animal, a dog or sheep, facing from right to left. The ironwork is blued. Iron front sight bead. Round browned lock plate. Two engraved side plates. Grip of the stock with carving. From the 1st Lieutenant of the Amsterdam civic guard on horseback, Jhr. J.C.G. Fabricius van Leyenburg.
