About this work

Small cavalry pistol with flintlock, part of a pair. Smooth barrel, partly octagonal, partly round. Steel front sight bead, no notch. A few rings. The pistols have copper fittings and are marked on the round lock plate, though very worn: CO ...achet à Delft; on the barrel under the stock LG (= Liège). Slightly decorated tombac fittings. Steel ramrod. Two small side plates. From one pistol of the pair the stock is inlaid with silver wire.
