About this work

Percussion army pistol model M 1820. with smooth, round barrel, which at the breech turns into a pentagonal section. The upper side of the breech a tapped percussion nipple. Iron lock plate with a carved 'S' with a crown above and the carved number '23'. On the upper side of the hammer a large ring. The stock is of walnut and has at the end a brass butt cap with an iron screw. The trigger guard is of walnut and has at the front an openwork housing.
