About this work
Black-painted wooden lime trough, containing a zinc trough with a glass back. Behind the glass, a silver plate with an inscription. Above it, a pierced, crowned national coat of arms, surrounded by a wreath of oak and orange branches. The sides are entirely decorated with carved plant motifs and both are provided with a wooden carved handle. Signed: R. J. GAMELKOORN / Court Supplier. Dated: 22 October 1861. Marked: on silver plate l.: SR...(illegible). Inscription: King William III has etc.
