About this work

Tin medal. Obverse: William III, in Roman dress, with in one hand an XP-standard and a liberty cap, resting on a globe, and in the other a drawn sword; next to him three crowned coats of arms and fleeing harpies within inscription; intaglio: legend. Reverse: Louis XIV, in Roman dress, leans on a sword, the blade of which consists of coins and the point rests on a tree; in the background Bergen, which is being shelled and a carriage of the king, followed by court ladies within inscription; intaglio: legend.
