Bronze medal. Obverse: man stamps with enormous pestle with inscription 1700 scholars finely ground which are carried by a servant in baskets and thrown into a mortar, in the background scholars emerging from the mortar with boards with inscription 1699 within double border; edge: inscription. Reverse: inscription.
