Silver medal. Obverse: a man in armor with a bundle of arrows in his hand protects two women, a man holding a hat in his hand, and a child with his shield within an inscription; cut-off: date. Reverse: the Netherlands, depicted as a woman leaning on a coat of arms and holding a spear with a liberty cap on it, in the background land by the sea, above her head an inverted horn of plenty within an inscription; cut-off: inscription.
