Silver medal. Obverse: angel with a radiant star on his head, descending from heaven with in his right hand a ship's rudder decorated with a shield and crowned with a liberty cap and in his left hand a mitre; in the foreground to the left a shield, crowned with a wreath of leaves, resting on a skull and a extinguished torch, to the right a genius splits with an axe a table with an inscription, sitting with knee on a cornucopia and in front of a broken column with an inscription within an inscription; truncation: inscription.
