Obverse: a man in sailor's attire with a crown and ship's helm, representing Commerce, leans on a pillar to which three coats of arms bound with ribbons hang; on the pillar lies a liberty cap, against which stands an anchor; in the background a fleet within an inscription; edge: signature. Reverse: inscription, illuminated by a radiant triangle above laurel branches.
