About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: John the Baptist baptizes Jesus in the Jordan; next to him two angels, illuminated by heavenly light, from which a dove descends within an inscription. Reverse: two men circumcising a child; behind them a man and a praying woman, next to them a boy with a scepter in his hand; in the foreground a can on a dish within an inscription.
