About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: winged Time with a winged hourglass on her head is carried by a winged boy holding a scythe; to the right, an obelisk with the inscription XXV within a cartouche; atop the obelisk, a nest of pelicans feeding their young with their own blood; before the obelisk, an altar with two burning hearts tied together with a ribbon; on the base, an image of a stork; in the background, a pond with two swans and a fountain; to the left, an obelisk with an L on the base, a serpent's ring on top, next to a palm tree; above it, an all-seeing eye in a radiant halo within an inscription; truncation: blank. Reverse: inscription; border inscription.
