About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: Minerva with shield, spear and an open book sits under a tree in which a coat of arms hangs; she leans on a pedestal with an inscription, on which an owl sits and a column rests, decorated with two bound snake rings; on the column a smoking censer; section: coat of arms between palm branches. Reverse: inscription within laurel and climbing branches tied together into a wreath.
