About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: View of Amsterdam and ships on the Amstel, above which a hand from the clouds holds a heart and the city's coat of arms with a banner bearing an inscription. Reverse: The removal of six members of the States of Holland to Loevestein Castle above an inscription, and a skull with a dove holding a palm branch in its beak within an inner inscription.
