About this work
Brass oval medal with suspension loop and ring. Obverse: standing on a globe, Mary with halo tramples snakes lying on the ground, while rays shoot from her hands within a two-line inscription. Reverse: letter M; above it, a cross with a bar; below it, two hearts, the left one adorned with a crown of thorns, and the right one pierced by a sword, within a wreath of stars.
