Invalidated assignat of fifty sols, series 891, issued 23 May 1793 at Utrecht

Single-sided printed assignat with cut corners; flat, bounded at top and sides by bands divided into compartments with leaf ornament and inscriptions; in the central field: inscription "Domaines nationaux / Assignat / de cinquante sols, / payable au porteur" above signature and altar with value indication thereon, next to which sit on the left a woman with a half-written tablet in hand, and on the right a woman with a fasces and scales in hands; in the field two relief stamps are placed: first stamp: winged, half-naked young man, writing at a table within inscription; second stamp: standing woman with sword and scales in hands, books at her feet; over the image the text "FAUX / UTRECHT" is printed. Back: inscription and text "FAUX / UTRECHT".
