About this work

Copper medal. Obverse: woman with an open book bearing an inscription in her right hand and a palm branch in her left, seated in a triumphal chariot within a legend; below the book: scratched five-pointed star. Reverse: nest with two small birds in a tree, jointly defending themselves against a large bird between an inscription within a legend; to the right of the tree: scratched five-pointed star.
