About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: view of the city from the south under a banner with inscription; in the foreground: St. Antonieschans, Fort Isabella and a road; to the right: two small boats, seven haystacks and a mower with a scythe to the right; cut: inscription. Reverse: floating Mercury holds a caduceus in his left hand, while with his other hand he points to a seated woman representing the city of 's-Hertogenbosch, leaning on a coat of arms, at a bale, cornucopia, basket and barrel below him within an inscription; cut: monogram of letters S and C.
