About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: view of the city from the south side under a banner with inscription; in the foreground: St. Antonieschans, Fort Isabella and a road; on the right: two small ships, seven haystacks and a mower with a scythe on the right; truncation: inscription. Reverse: floating Mercury holds a caduceus in his left hand, while with his other hand he points to a woman sitting before him, representing the city of 's-Hertogenbosch, who leans on a coat of arms, to a pile, a horn of plenty, a basket and a barrel beneath him within an inscription; truncation: monogram of the letters S and C.
