About this work

Brass oval medal. Obverse: laurel-wreathed skull on two crossed bones above a cartouche with inscription; above it a winged hourglass and two scythes, with a ribbon bearing an inscription draped around them within a border. Reverse: cloth with inscription under a laurel wreath within a border. Inscriptions on both sides difficult to read.
