About this work
Photo album with 213 photos of travels to Japan, China, and the United States. Dolph received the album, with a long written inscription, as a gift from his aunt Nelly Heijning-de Lange on 27 October 1903, on the occasion of his first long stay away from his mother's home. The album contains purchased and self-made photos. It begins with a trip to Switzerland and ends at the Battery in New York.
