About this work
Photo album with thirteen pages containing a total of eight photographs. The album contains two cabinet photographs and five cartes-de-visite in passe-partouts framed by gold lines or colour lithography images, and one loose postcard. Not all passe-partouts are filled. At the back of the album is a music box, which could be activated with the closure. Depicted are portraits of British soldiers. The photographs were made by various photographers, in England and India. The photographer of one photograph is anonymous.
