Family album with 42 photos

Photo album with 28 pages containing a total of 45 photographs. The album contains 23 cabinet photographs, 20 cartes-de-visite and 2 photographs of other formats. Each page contains one or four passe-partouts framed by gold lines for cabinet photographs or cartes-de-visite. Not all passe-partouts are filled. At the back of the album are three loose photographs: two cabinet photographs and a postcard. Depicted are portraits of unknown men, women and children. On some photographs a name, date or inscription is written on the back. The photographs were made by various photographers, including Charls & Van Es & Co, Wah Seng and J.J. de Haan. The album contains photographs by both Dutch, Indonesian and some English photographers. The photographer of some photographs is anonymous.
