About this work

Photo album with sixty mounted photographs on sixty pages. At the front of the album is a list with German descriptions of the photographs. Depicted are tobacco and coffee plantations, kampongs, and road construction in Sumatra. The album originates from Paul and Lucie Sandel in Langkat, Sumatra. The photographs were made by H. Ernst & Co.
