Photo album with a total of 46 photographs on 50 pages. The album contains 45 cartes-de-visite in passe-partouts framed by embossed borders and one loose carte-de-visite, which was together with another carte-de-visite in a passe-partout. Not all passe-partouts in the album are filled. Portraits of prominent Swedish men and women are depicted. Some sitters are known by name, namely Hjalmar Nathorst, Abraham Ludvig Hedin, Karl Oskar Cardon, and Theodor Palmberg. On some of the remaining photographs, a name is noted on the verso and/or on the album leaf, presumably of the sitter. Some sitters are unknown. The photographs were taken by various Swedish photographers, including Axel Rydin, Hilda Sjölin, and Math. Hansen and C.J. Malmberg. The photographer is unknown for six of the photographs.
