About this work

Photo album with 36 pages containing a total of 66 photos. The album contains 57 cartes-de-visite and 8 cabinet photos in passe-partouts framed with gold lines or floral decorations, and 1 loose photo of larger format. Not all passe-partouts in the album are filled. Depicted are portraits of unknown men, women, and children. Part of the portrayed persons are clergy. Additionally, the album contains a photographic reproduction of a drawing. The photos were made by various Dutch photographers, including the brothers Cordes, J.G. Mulder, and Johannes Wilhelmus Franciscus Offenberg. The majority of the photos were made in Haarlem. The photographer of 4 photos is anonymous.
