Not all passe-partouts in the album are filled. Depicted are portraits of unknown men, women, and children. Part of the portrayed persons are clergy. Additionally, the album contains a photographic reproduction of a drawing. The photos were made by various Dutch photographers, including the brothers Cordes, J.G. Mulder, and Johannes Wilhelmus Franciscus Offenberg. The majority of the photos were made in Haarlem. The photographer of 4 photos is anonymous.
