About this work

Photo album with seventeen leaves and fifty-six cartes-de-visite. The album contains portraits, mostly produced in North Holland, including by C. van der Aa & J. Chrispijn, Pieter Vlaanderen and Albert Greiner; a few photographs are anonymous. Many of the women portrayed wear caps resembling the Frisian cap. Additionally, some men are depicted in uniform.
