Photo album of the flood in Paris and suburbs 1910

Album with a dark green cover with gold inscription. In the bottom right corner is the name and address of the photographer: G. Dangereux 6. Rue aux Ours (Angle du 60. Bould. Sébastopol) PARIS (3e). The spine is reinforced on the inside with wood and metal. Metal pins hold the leaves together. The corners of the cover on the front and back are of leather. The endpapers feature a marbled motif. On a total of 16 dark green leaves, 67 photographs are mounted, often several small ones around a larger format. The last 6 leaves each contain only one photograph. Each photograph is mounted on a gold-colored sheet of paper, creating a border around the photograph. The photographs concern the flooding of Paris and its suburbs in January 1910, when the Seine overflowed its banks after heavy rainfall and public life was disrupted.
