Album in a green velvet cover with gold-stamped ornaments. Corners and two locks (one broken) of gold-colored ornamental metal. Flyleaves of green changeant paper. The album contains 31 leaves in various colors; some are coated with a dark glossy paint. There are also remnants of leaves that appear to have been cut off. The album contains albumen prints, some hand-colored, chromolithographs, oleographs, a photochrom, a developed gelatin silver print, and a drawing by the compiler, Manuel Mayo. Most of the total 61 images have a caption, usually in Spanish. They mainly concern buildings in various European cities including Venice, Turin, Genoa, Rome, Stockholm, Toledo, St. Petersburg, and Moscow, as well as landscapes and harbor views.
