About this work

Large print on two sheets celebrating the victories of King William III in Ireland and the victories of the allies against France in 1690. The upper half features centrally the Battle of the Boyne on 11 July 1690, with Fame in the air and, in the foreground, the English unicorn and the Dutch lion. On either side, six smaller scenes of the struggle between William III and James II.
