About this work
A landscape with a house in front of which stand a man, a woman and a child (Abraham, Hagar and Ishmael) (Gen. 21:9-21). The man has his right hand outstretched in a pointing gesture. In the middle in the foreground three resting shepherds. Eleventh print of a series of fifty-two landscape prints in total, divided into two parts of twenty-six prints each.
