About this work

A landscape with a house in front of which stand a man, a woman and a child (Abraham, Hagar and Ishmael) (Gen. 21:9-21). The man has his right hand outstretched in a pointing gesture. In the middle in the foreground three resting shepherds. Eleventh print of part three of a series of sixty landscape prints in total, divided into five parts of twelve prints each.
