King Louis Napoleon visits the ruins on the Steenschuur, a canal in the extension of the Rapenburg, in Leiden after the explosion of the gunpowder ship on 12 January 1807. At the bottom the titles in Dutch and French separated by the king's coat of arms. See also the pendant and the design drawing.
