A man and a woman throw stones behind them with covered faces, which turn into men and women. They are Deucalion and Pyrrha, the only man and woman who survived the great flood of the gods. From an oracle (visible in the middle of the background) they received the advice 'to throw the bones of the great mother behind them'. On the left on the mountain behind the oracle, the ark is visible in which Deucalion and Pyrrha managed to survive the flood. Below the image two times two lines of Latin text.
