Satirical print on the deteriorating position of the Roman Catholic Church in the Netherlands. Foxes dressed as priests and monks worry about their position now that the geese are winning. In the foreground four foxes in conversation. Behind them a long procession of soldiers marches through the country like geese. In the upper left the temple 'Het Koophuys', dedicated to greed. In the caption on a separate plate below the image four verses alternating between 8 and 7 lines in Dutch.
