About this work
In a richly decorated room, with an ornamental fireplace where a vase with flowers stands, are five women in 17th-century clothing. Four women sit at a table while the fifth, standing, shows a flower to the others, who also have flowers with them. Above the fireplace hangs a painting with a biblical scene and next to the passage behind the table hang two portraits; one of a man and one of a woman.
