In the center two columns of text in Latin with on the left King Gustav I of Sweden, who lifts a celestial globe and holds a spear of liberty. On the right stands Gustav II Adolf, King of Sweden, dressed as Hercules with the globe on his shoulders, trampling snakes. On the top of the frame on the left sits Faith.
