About this work

Fire in the rope walks of the Admiralty and a number of adjacent buildings on Oostenburg, 12 January 1673. In extinguishing this fire, the new hose fire engines were used for the first time. With three-line inscription in Dutch and French. Plate 7 in Jan van der Heyden's Fire Engine Book.
