About this work
In the temple of Jerusalem, the Pharisees bring a woman caught in adultery to Christ. He must judge her. Christ writes with his finger in the ground and says: "He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone" (John 8:2-11). The print bears a Latin inscription. It is part of a series on the Life of Christ.
