Spring landscape with spring scenes. April is the grass month. In the foreground, plowing and sowing takes place. Shepherds let their sheep graze outside again. In the background, a deer hunt is going on. In the middle top the constellation Taurus. In this series of the twelve months, each month is depicted with the human activities typical for it, its climatic characteristics and its constellation.
