General Chassé surrounded by the members of the Council of Defence of the Citadel, standing in the Citadel of Antwerp on 28 October 1830, the day after the bombardment of the city. The Duke of Saxe-Weimar reports to Chassé about the bombardment. In the background the city with, on the left, the still smouldering warehouse. A key belongs to the print.
