About this work
The Feast of Belshazzar, King of Babylon, with his courtiers and women. Belshazzar, seen from the back, is startled by the hand that appears before the wall above the gate. On the table stand the stolen cups and dishes from the temple of Jerusalem. At the bottom of the margin, a text in Latin.
